It’s Tuesday. As good a day as any to share a few fun facts about me.
Maybe you’ll find them interesting, maybe not — either way, a sweet nod to my friend @saramweir for this photo of me. She stopped in for a visit and we were sitting around chatting about the nuances of life.
I can’t help but hear my kid’s third grade writing prompt as I type this: “The most important thing about me…” is that I care. Everyone should feel that they matter and are valued.
I find peace in simplicity and do my best to live an intentional life. I miss the mark, too. And that’s okay. I’m currently on round 20-something of decluttering my life.
I have a strong belief in God and spend time with Him daily. My daily meditation and yoga practice are life-giving for me.
Beauty is something I look for always. I’ve never not found it.
I love the city. Architecture. Interiors. Good food and laughing children.
I have 4 of those laughing children — all teenagers, but the laughter is still as magical.
I started this journey of building my business when we moved to the rural mountain west from the city life of the Midwest. I still miss the humid summer nights and the hum of cicadas. I do love the crisp morning air and wide open night sky of the mountains.

Something that’s been on my mind often, especially throughout the last year. And something I’ll be talking about more…
What does one say when showing up again after such a long time? I’m hopeful that a quick “hey!” is all that’s needed, and we can get along doing what we’ve always done, as if no time has passed. Though, this past year has been full. Full of so much that will simply need to unfold over time. Beginning with this beautiful rebrand that we had the pleasure of being part of.
The biggest “thing” @chelseabrooke_events came to us looking for was clarity. She’s wildly talented and has a knack for sensing the unspoken needs of her clients, yet she felt scattered under the surface.
We were able to bring her a deep sense of order and understanding of the degree of hospitality she brings to her work. By creating a series of frameworks, we made it easy for her, and her team, to know how to serve their clients well.
Our process lead to new business ideas and fresh ways of executing her tried and true processes so that her clients feel well-cared for and she feels focused and energized in her work. The new logo and visual identity was just the beginning...
Even in our work we can find presence. Presence leads to awareness. To experiences. Presence leads to meaningful living. Meaningful work.
I find myself reflecting on how to find — create, perhaps — more meaning in my work so that it fills me. Expands me, really.
