Another Collective in the books. Hard to believe this was my 8th Mania week and 7th Collective overall. Every year has its own vibe, and every year you learn and grow. This year: 18 matches, 9 shows in 4 days, plus helping produce 2 more. Still thinking about how fun it all was… even if I had to explain a black eye to my shoot job all week. Was it from the dastardly Invisible Man or pulling Josh Barnett off of Yuji Nagata? You decide, haha. Being a ref means wearing a lot of hats and helping tell every story. Only in GCW can you go from Bloodsport fights to an ECW legend and the Invisible Man to a teenager’s first match in front of a packed crowd. I like to think I was the best referee I could be for all of those moments. As a Philly kid, I got goosebumps standing in the ring while the crowd sang along to Enter Sandman for The Sandman’s entrance one last time. It was also an honor to referee Brodie Lee Jr.’s first match and to help ensure he was safe and comfortable. He delivered on every level. Grateful for everyone I got to work with, from the locker rooms to the behind-the-scenes crew. It truly takes all of you. I wish I had taken more photos, but the week flies by. Always great seeing so many people. Blessed, grateful, and ready to keep going and going! Back to work this weekend. 📸: @allelbows , @prowrestlingcinema , @spazzaferro
