La Puerta De Entrada / Port of Entry is a video sculpture by Estephania González and Lily Reeves that exists as a portal between time, space, and place. Positioned in the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona, yet appearing across many desert landscapes, La Puerta only opens to those who see the ever-changing apparition. It is a monument to the movement of life, to migration as an earth right, and to the desert as a place of deep spiritual power and awakening.

🕳️ Layered Space 🕳️
Is the newest ceiling installation we did for @thexlife.co XD2 building in Denver 🕳️
This installation (pictured here in the daytime!) was created for a two story atrium and designed alongside @7onyvasquez so that it engages people that are in the space utilizing the stairs and outside, since we wanted it visible from the street 🕳️
Can’t wait to keep sharing this piece, which is definitely by far the coolest thing we’ve gotten to work on to date!

Red cloud is the name of an exit off of the I-40, somewhere in the desert between Phoenix, Arizona and Birmingham Alabama, a cross country drive i’ve made at least 20 times in my life, moving across the American South to the American Southwest. It is also the name of this suspended stainless steel and neon sculpture, which has backlighting to it that reminds me of the folk premonition ‘red sky at night, sailors delight’.
