The past few months, I’ve definitely been out of my baking groove. Just never feeling creative or motivated to bake. After taking my @learnmonthly Creative Baking Class with @christinatosi , I feel a lot more confident on how to approach my own kind of recipes and different ways I can tell a story through my food. As our final project, we designed our own unique version of the Milk Bar Celebration Cake! No better way to celebrate than with cake ☺️ This cake consists of a chocolate cake, chocolate + mint milk soak, mint frosting, and Thin Mint cookie crumb. I tried my absolute best to keep this entire cake vegan, but I incorporated eggs into my chocolate cake. I have yet to perfect my techniques and recipes for all-vegan cake. ✨

I’ve been talking a lotta talk about these cookies, but I can’t help but share! For the last week or so, I’ve been participating in @milkbarstore ‘s @learnmonthly Creative Baking Class. I’ve been learning so many tips and new skills about baking the basic’s with @christinatosi ☺️ We were taught to design our own cookie recipe, and this was my creation! This recipe includes homemade chai spice, instant coffee, oats, chopped coffee beans, and chopped pecans. I definitely tweaked my final recipe by removing some of the coffee beans within these current cookies, but they looked pretty so I had to snap a pic!
