Ohhhh Mile of Music, we have met before but not like this. This time I'm bringing the whole band. We're going to get really loud and really weird and I cannot wait to be back in Appleton in August. Counting down the days! See you on the Mile!
Getting the whole gang together on Sunday afternoon! We'll play at 3pm at the @partingglasssaratoga - our only free full band show in Saratoga Springs all year. Come help us celebrate Caffe Lena's 66th Anniversary all day - noon to 5pm, 23 bands, 10 stages.
Last night at @hhcabotvt felt a little like coming home, if home was an old hardware store full of friendly people. Already looking forward to going back next spring. Thanks to Will Seeders and @chickystoltz for sitting in on pedal steel and cajon!
Next up for me is Bridgeport CT on Wednesday for a songwriters round, and then getting the full band back together for Caffe Lena's big neighborhood festival on Sunday afternoon.
That guitar will be heading to Vermont tomorrow night for its first visit to the Den at @hhcabotvt ! I'll have James with me on upright and we'll be joined for a special guest appearance by @seedersinstruments on pedal steel. The vibes will be lush!
"Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band aren’t loud about what they do—but they don’t need to be. Because this band doesn’t sit neatly in a box. They kind of wander around it. Comfortably.
It was intimate, yes—but more than that, the audience was locked in. Not distracted. Not half-watching. Actually listening. The kind of crowd that makes you lower your camera for a second and just go, “Okay … yeah … this is a moment.”"
Love these lines from @nyrockstarphotographer about our concert at @theparktheatergf on Friday. I'm pretty confident that putting on a really good show has always been enough, and I'm not worried about trying to convince people online or presenting a label they understand. They'll get it once they come see us play.
Stephanie's full gallery and review is on @radio_radio_x highly recommend!
Local Americana act Reese Fulmer and the Carriage House Band took the stage at The Park Theater in Glens Falls for a laidback performance on Friday night. James Mullen tells you all about it over on our website, alongside a gallery of photos from our very own Staci Oswald.
Got to be part of a surprise b day bash last night at @vosburghbrewing and what better way to celebrate than with a never before seen lineup of the Carriage House Band!
I'm taking the boys to the Park on Friday night. Not Acadia National Park like Jimi and Gooch are exploring in the second slide. This park has tables and seats and curtains and a whole bunch of beer you can drink if you want, and we'll be playing a big show for you. It'll be a grand time. Doors at 7, curtains drawn at 8. Tickets on my website and the Park's.
