I don’t like to talk much about pain, even though I’ve lived it in every detail.
I’ve been displaced more than six times, endured unimaginable conditions, but I held onto a thread of hope.
We walked back to the north on foot — every step drained our souls,
but I believed I would return, that this place still belonged to me, even if its face had changed.
I found my home burned, looted, destroyed… I cried, but I did not give up.
We fixed part of it — not to restore the past, but to continue forward.
Omar, my partner in this harsh journey, has been the light when the world went dark. He’s always by my side.
We barely caught our breath before the war returned again, and life grew even harder.
Even finding food became a daily struggle.
Still, I live each day with the hope that tomorrow will be better.
I look at my little Luna, with her talent and gentleness, and I dream of a homeland for her
one filled with safety, not fear, with love and happiness.
Please keep us in your prayers. I love you all.
My Home 💔😭
Destruction is everywhere every corner, every stone, every smell speaks of unbearable pain.
My heart aches as if it no longer knows anything but brokenness.
Everything is gray... colorless, lifeless.
My home, where I used to hide from fear,
My neighborhood that was filled with laughter, people, and houses,
My memories, my peace...
All of it has turned into a frightening, silent, gray place
In which all you hear is the echo of sadness...and the moan of absence.
The war is over, yes...
But a harsher war has begun:
A war on sadness, on emptiness, on trying to stay afloat amidst all this collapse... But despite this, I still resist, trying to search for a single color amidst the ashes, for a beginning, for a window through which the light can once again enter.
In a time when even life’s basics are missing,
we made cookies with love… with small, innocent hands.
Luna and I, despite everything, create moments of warmth.
I wish her days filled with beauty—worthy of her pure heart and bright smile🫂🥺
