REEFS RC XP10 Plague: Portal Clearance, Straight Axle Stability
Ever wished you could have the insane ground clearance of portal axles without sacrificing the low-slung stability of a straight axle rig? That’s the challenge every serious crawler faces, and it’s the exact problem the Reefs RC XP10 Plague was built to solve.
As the designer intended, “I want a portal rig that drives like a straight axle rig. I want the clearance of portal axles, but the stability of straight axles.”
The XP10 Plague is the culmination of that vision—a competition-grade crawler engineered from the ground up to provide the best of both worlds. It’s not just a collection of premium parts; it’s a balanced, integrated system designed for superior maneuverability, unwavering stability, and the clearance to conquer any obstacle.

Order up the SX30 Servo for your SCX30 Build
REEFS is proud to introduce our high-torque metal gear servo designed specifically for the Axial SCX30. Housed in a machined aluminum case, this servo delivers an impressive 35 oz-in of torque at 6V—five times the torque of the stock servo.
Built with all-metal gears and twice the weight of the stock servo, it adds valuable low front-end weight, helping improve weight bias and stability on these lightweight rigs.
Each servo includes three different lengths of black nylon servo arms. For those looking to upgrade, it’s also compatible with the REEFS286 aluminum servo horn with stainless steel pivot ball (pivot ball pre-installed).
Installation is quick and easy—only seven screws need to be removed and replaced, so you can be up and running in minutes with increased torque and added weight to improve your SCX30’s performance.
