R.I.P. Crockett.
One heck of a dog. Named after the legendary hunter Davy Crockett and what a hunter he was.
Crockett was a special dog that got to meet a lot of people in his 16 years. Unfortunately age catches up to all dogs and we had to have a tough day saying goodbye yesterday.
He got to live a few livesā¦he started out burning his energy chasing the system 2.0 at battle falls, and then once I got into duck hunting he had to adapt his bird doggin skills to become a retriever, and then the past few years, he has mostly been a truck/boat riding dog.
It wasnāt until last night that food left out on the counter was safe in the last 16 years.
It was hard to know how bad I would miss him until he was gone and wow it has hit me like a brick wall.

Truck is a 2014 6.7 liter Powerstroke
This truck was used as a hotshot truck for its entire life and I know the driver well. The motor and transmission are both original. Am I insane for buying this?

I spent a lot of time in Groveland in the spring and early summer of 2011, and much of that was because of Reed, along with @dieterhumpsch and @grantroberts , building the epic floating spine ramp for @foxwake (@foxracing ). How they got this thing to work, Iāll never understand, but documenting them building it, testing it, and ultimately shredding it, was a ton of fun. One highlight Reed and I still laugh about today involved Dieter and his lack of reptilian knowledge. At one point while Reed was riding, Dieter started loudly exclaiming that there was an iguana in the water or something. The jet ski pulled Reed by Dieter in the shallows, Reed jumped in, and in total Reed fashion, he came up holding a baby gator. āBruh, itās a gator!!!ā Zoom into the pic and youāll see Dieterās reaction perfectly. šš
