All my thoughts and hopes are in Ukraine today, as it fights for their right to exist, flourish and and self-govern. With missiles and bombers striking cities and bases over the entire country, nobody is guaranteed safety while Putin tries to excerpt his power.
With such dark days looming, I feel so privileged to have seen Ukraine at its best, toured the vast country, and lived on the frontline for over a year, meeting the determined and fearsome people who I know will give chaos and hell to all Russian invaders as they fight for their right to survive.
I truly hope one day I can return to a strong, whole and untied Ukraine and live with the people in the peace they all want and deserve.
Merry Christmas from Ukraine, to all my friends old and new. It’s been a very different year for me which gave me the chance meet and interview some of the most courageous civilians and soldiers alike. I hope 2020 will bring peace and prosperity for everyone here. 🇺🇦 #Ukraine #ukrainewar
