Some highlights of 2026 so far…

Fighting the January blues with good hangs, great food & wonderful people 💥

🧳 2025 🧳 Finished this year off leading on tours with @onerepublic across the EU & @pitbull out in the Middle East. A privilege exploring new spots with some of the finest folks this industry has to offer! 7 different tours this year, my first shows outside of Europe & production managing my first festival. Ticking off a few bucket list moments like my first time at Wembley with Black pink! Some massive achievements that I’m super proud of, focusing on pushing myself professionally whilst staying present and trying my best to take things at my own pace. Another year looking after @rebellionmanchester and championing grassroots heavy music home & away, a great honour and responsibility I don’t take lightly when so many venues are struggling. Juggling all this and a big first year for @uprisingpromotions putting on shows my way independently and platforming music I love. Found joy and a lot of mental solace in moving to a vegetarian lifestyle & committing to living straight edge this May. Really has changed my life with new community & a change in headspace allowing me to put a lot of needed work into myself. Still a long way to go & a lot to learn but happy to be making the right sacrifices and taking nothing for granted. Surrounded by love and wonderful people moving into 2026 with some huge projects on the horizon. Buzzing to welcome my niece to the world in May and whatever else may coming next. Full of love for the community around me and thankful for all those that make the world a little brighter. X

MANCHESTER PSYCH FEST 2025 Already a highlight every summer for the past few years I had one of the proudest moments of my career so far Festival Managing @manchesterpsychfest last Saturday. Delivering a line up of 80+ bands across over a dozen stages, @warmduscherr headlining one of my favourite places @projektsmcr @slap_rash playing in Bundobust there’s simply too many highlights to mention. Massive thanks to @garethjb0505 for trusting me to deliver this one, it’s a festival with a vision cooler and with more identity than any other thanks to him. @sophie.staniforth & @liviapurnell for being ace, taking everything in their strides and keeping my head screwed on straight when everything started happening! Really couldn’t have done it without them. Love to @_0nly_sams_ @shanseaton_ @hmurphy1203 & @danikajulrich for letting me drag you into stage managing this one, @spotted_radiator @nataliekatewhite & @thomasstabler for being the legends they are amongst many others. 🌍PARTY AFTER DARK 🌍 Recent shenanigans on the Pitbull - Party After Dark EU/UK tour second leg, some familiar spots and some brand new places to explore too! An absolute party at every show, really wonderful people coming together to deliver a killer production & some new friends that’ll last a lifetime. Very lucky to find Joy in coming into work everyday and even more grateful to the crew around me. Spent Slam Dunk slinging merch with some equally wonderful people and catching up with new and old friends as well as throwing some emo shows, finally getting to see Micheal Cera Palin after bringing them to Manchester for the second time and looking after Free Throw repping for Slam Dunk too. Spent some much needed time with family celebrating my wonderful mums 50th. Blessed to be busy across everything I do, well into the chaos of the summer and looking forward to everything coming next x

Alec Benjamin EU/UK 2025 6 weeks with the most wonderful people, every day getting to learn from the very best. Scandinavia for the first time, a newfound coffee addiction and an appreciation for the New Jersey hardcore scene. As always pitstops along the way - catching Bilmuri & South Arcade in Hamburg & Knocked Loose for my first time at the Underworld. It massively deserves its reputation, very blessed to see them at such an intimidate show. I’m very lucky to meet so many wonderful people doing a job I adore whilst seeing just a little bit more of this mad planet!

Life recently 🌎 First tour of the year with @pitbull - couldn’t have done it without the wicked @hannahclxire 💥 A wicked crew and a show that promises a party every time, can’t wait to be back in June 💪 Days of exploring Paris, Dublin Pubs and even managing to catch Mogwai with my parents at Brixton academy. A venue that truly lives up to the hype. Rebellion hosted MADBALL the godfathers of hardcore and took the roof off. We announced shows from Scowl, Gel, Free Throw and more as well as some incredible all dayers. I managed to catch sets from High Vis & Guilt Trip in-between the madness and finished off the month promoting the first of many shows to come from Uprising! Crywank were as good as ever and I couldn’t have asked for a better first show. Not bad for the shortest month of the year 💪

🤘🏼2024🤘🏼 Easily the most eventful, rewarding, stressful, exciting and challenging year of my life. 12 months of highs lows and everything in between. I’m blessed to have too many highlights to mention but some personal favourites include: Taking on programming @rebellionmanchester holding the live diary and being able to book some incredible shows including bands I’ve loved for a very long time. Knuckle Puck, Graphic Nature, Drain, Crywank, Party Cannon, Foxing. Wrong side fest, beat em down, Radar and MPF after parties to name but a few. Touring as a VIP Rep with Travis Scott then as Lead on YEAT’s European/UK tours, seeing the world one backstage corridor at a time. Endlessly privileged to be welcome into these artist camps and grateful for the trust VIPNation has in me to deliver their packages on the road. Repping shows for some incredible promoters in-between tours with clients now including Pink Dot, BA Concerts, Crosstown Concerts, 456 Live, Tapestry Promotions, Greyline and Hamilton Hunter. Also stage managing at Manchester Psych fest’s CYCO VISION Stage at projeckts skate park. Jumping on shows as a local vendor for some incredible artists including Sleep Tokens pop ups, Chappel Roan, A.G. Cook, The Go! Team, Dead Poets Society and heading down to Slam Dunk to jump on The Pure Noise Records Tent to name a few. Finally launching @uprisingpromotions promoting and programming alternative music across the UK whilst still allowing me to tour and spin many plates at once. Headline shows with Crywank and Micheal Cera Palin announced with more to follow. Endlessly grateful to the family, friends, bands, agents, promoters and crew that have made this year possible. It’s been 12 months of backing myself, experiencing as much of life as possible and trying to take rare moments of reflection inbetween the madness. Massive things to come in 2025 starting with me hitting the road as Live VIP rep for Pitbulls EU/UK Party After Dark tour. Bring on the new year! 💪

Some recent shenanigans - Celebrated my 24th birthday with a Glaswegian pilgrimage to see @biffy_clyro perform one of my favourite albums blackened sky in full. Witnessed @barrowland_ballroom in full force. Yeat Eurolyfe UK/EU tour with @vipnationeurope - my first shows in Paris & Berlin. A great time with a great crew. Finally my very first trip to Outbreak with the very best people reaffirming my love for Hardcore, @whispershc were an absolutely highlight. Big things coming, having a blast x
