Fulfilling a dream, traveling through the Isle of Skye and creating this story is something I’ll carry with me forever. I’ve known Miška and Vlady for quite some time now. When they first told me that after their official wedding they dreamed of filming an elopement abroad, I was honestly so happy. But when they invited me to live this four-day adventure in Scotland with them, it meant more than I can put into words. Scotland was cold, wet, windy… and absolutely beautiful. Just like the moments we shared there. One of the most emotional parts was their ceremony. While they were reading their letters to each other, the sun suddenly broke through the clouds and painted the scene with deep warm light. A moment that felt unreal, almost too perfect to be planned. I could write so much more, but I believe this film says everything for me. Noémie and Martin whispered their “I dos” during a difficult time of separation, quietly yet wholeheartedly. A few years down the road, they wished to seal their love the way they had always imagined, surrounded by friends and family, and the gentle bustle only loved ones can create. There’s something about Scotland.. the weather, the wind and ofcourse the beautiful surroundings. I’ve been coming back here for years, and every time, it feels like a piece of my heart stays behind.
