Players wore historic Negro Leagues jerseys as a tribute to honor all the greats that paved the way 💙

Local youth coaches joined us at GABP for a Q&A and opportunity to learn from some of the greats. Special thanks to USA Baseball for their partnership on this event each year!

A day to celebrate the legacy of Jackie Robinson and what he meant to the game of baseball. Wilberforce and Ohio Christian played in the annual Joe Morgan Classic and represented Negro Leagues from all over the country by wearing these authentic jerseys! And throughout the facility, we saw six games from the Skyline Chili Reds Futures High School Showcase being played in honor of #42.

One week later and we are still amazed by this city! What a way to kick off the season - all while raising money for the Reds Community Fund.
