We are eternally grateful to @subaru_usa and @subaru_lv for the Share the Love event. Each year, we have an opportunity to share our mission with the community we serve during this event, and the community gives back. This morning, we were honored at the annual Share the Love ceremony, alongside Project150. We are grateful to the community, and for Subaru's impact on organizations that serve.
One of the best times each year is presenting our Hometown Charities with their Subaru Share the Love Event checks! In 2025, we supported Project 150 and our Legacy Partner, Red Rock Search and Rescue. Thank you to these organizations for all they do in the community, to Subaru of America, and to all of the customers who chose to support our Hometown Charities with their purchases.
Our newest class of prospective teammates are hard at work. Before they can wear our signature orange, they must pass a multitude of classes, tests and field exams. Right now, they are probationary -- training nearly every day to get that orange!
Red Rock Search & Rescue works hard to make sure we're constantly learning and evolving, so we can better serve our community. This week we're at the National Missing and Unidentified Persons Conference. It's a place where we all can discuss big picture things -- such as innovation in search operations, advancing investigations, and strengthening relationships with our partner agencies. We are proud to be a part of this event.
Some of our team recently spent some time at the Fossils State Park and were given a great reminder! When you return to your vehicle after spending time in the desert, make sure you check under your vehicles. You may save one of Mojave Max's relatives by doing so!
Let's all get our steps in! Metro SAR is one of our most valuable partners. And they've got a great way for us to show our support -- by joining in the Friends of Las Vegas Metro Search and Rescue 5k! It's April 18th at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. This team does so much for our community when called upon -- here's our chance to show them some love! Registration information is on the bottom of the photo.
It's been a very busy week for Red Rock Search & Rescue. We've been involved in several successful search and rescue operations. On Saturday, we worked alongside Metro SAR and BLM rangers to conduct a search and rescue operation in Red Rock. Red Rock Search & Rescue located the subject off trail and led them to an area where AIR3 was able to extract the victim. During this operation, two additional rescue operations were conducted nearby. It truly was a team effort from all partner forces. Be careful out there!
Red Rock Search & Rescue preparing to head out on a recent training exercise. Our fully trained team members wear the orange. Probationary members wear the neon yellow/green. It helps us make sure they're learning and adapting in the field. And it takes a lot of work to "graduate" to the orange! If you need us, rest assured, you're in good hands.
