his past Saturday saw us down in Harriman State Park covering the @redpointevents 2026 version of the Wawayanda Trail Festival that was moved from its normal venue. The morning started a bit cold before giving way to a steady drizzle. The runners braved the cold rain and danced among the boulder fields. Here are a few highlights from the day. The weather held off, and ended up being a great day for bing on the trails down on Staten Island. @redpointevents Productions held the third running of the @nyc_trailmix and it was a blast. From start to finish and everywhere in between, the 45th year was one for the books! We appreciate and love this community so much and it’s always like a homecoming each year. We love everyone rally and cheer for each other. And seeing all the new faces that get to enjoy it for the first time! So many incredible efforts, both crossing the finish lines and everyone in those tough early and middle miles. None of it possible without amazing volunteers, family, crews, pacers, etc. And @gfmedia for every amazing 📸 2024 saw our most finishers ever, even as the trail proved to be challenging as always, with only about 2/3 of the field making it to the finish. The women showed up and stacked 3 times in the top 10 of all time! @zamborunner @frederick.kaylee . Including a course record setting performance by @justa.wil @emilyforner also setting history, along with a course record as the first registered Non-binary runner.
