Step into the longest night of the year with the 36th Annual Kensington Market Winter Solstice Parade. Bring your lanterns, and noisemakers and walk together through the streets as fire, music, and movement light the way.
The parade gathers at Augusta Ave and Oxford St before making its way to Alexandra Park, where the Fire Finale brings the night to a close.
Handmade solstice lanterns will be available at the Lantern Booth earlier in the afternoon, or bring one of your own and join the procession.
Remember to bring donations; the event is a major fundraiser for Red Pepper Arts Spectacle.
