Beautiful week to kick off the year. Could’ve done without the freezing rain that forced us to plane about 2000sqft of trusses, but that gave us something to complain about.

Dark, cool mornings bring a familiar sense of panic. The to-do list feels endless, and soon snow will blanket the job sites, forcing work to slow.
Having always worked the transition from fall to winter outside, you understand the rhythm of the seasons. You control what you can, and deal with the rest.
This feeling, I imagine, has roots deep inside of me—a shared experience with colleagues from centuries and millennia past.
