Ahead of May, we’re gathering on 18th April at Gaffe for a free day-to-night endeavour.
Starting across two spaces during the day, one open-air and one hosting a more ambient, installation-led setup inside, before things move through into the warehouse as the evening progresses.
A chance to meet, make friends, and begin to shape the weekend to come.
Music, installations and contributions from those around Sarum Point, alongside those at Gaffe, a shared space between both.
Further details shared via the Whatsapp group chat.
A spotlight on our support
Binnsy (22 Collective)
Over the past year, 22 Collective have been quietly building serious momentum, with a string of sell-outs at Club Colette cementing their place in the city’s scene. Binnsy as their resident has been recently sharing lineups with the likes of Papa Nugs and DJ Cosworth, sharpening a sound aligned with our own.
Coddiwomple
The Hare is welcoming back Coddiwomple, the double act of @anisharestrick and @asha.gurung_ . Both have joined us before: Asha at our very first party, Nisha more recently at Channel 7. Active, involved and properly embedded in the circuit, they represent exactly what Redhead stands for.
General admission is close to selling out. Catch them alongside Radioactive Man this Friday.
@radioactiveman_uk has been shaping UK electronic music since the mid-90s, from his era-defining work alongside Andrew Weatherall as Two Lone Swordsmen on Warp, to a solo catalogue that’s pushed electro, acid and machine funk forward for decades.
With five studio albums, releases on underground staples like Wang trax and Killekill, and his own imprint Asking For Trouble, his sound bridges Detroit electro influence, UK sound system culture and razor-sharp hardware programming.
A prolific collaborator, his live sets have taken him from Fabric and FOLD to Glastonbury, Houghton and Sonar always built for the dancefloor.

Ascension & Redhead Records - The Loft - 10/1/26
A big thank you from both of our teams to everyone who made Saturday night possible. There was a very special atmosphere in that room, created by friends and music heads who were all strapped in for a journey.
Thank you to our DJs, whose selections matched our vision for the night perfectly. These are some very talented selectors who deeply understand the flow of a dance, and no doubt have a very bright future in this scene.
But most importantly, thank you to every single person who danced with us, and came with open minds and arms. The dance can’t dance without you all!

Spotlight - Touré
Touré is a name you will have seen all around the underground scene as of late, and for good reason.
She is a Manchester based-DJ operating in the space of deeper, more minimal sounds, whilst dabbling in shadowy strains of dark electro and brooding darkwave. She crafts immersive sets that move fluidly from deep hypnotic grooves to driving rhythms - perfect for our peak time slot on Saturday.
With her ear and selections finely tuned, she draws constant inspiration from the underground. Her sounds blur genres whilst creating an experience to keep the dance floor locked in.
She is an artist we’ve been watching for a while, it’s very exciting to bring this together this weekend and have her spin for us!
Last call for general release… Tickets via RA or through the link in our bio.
Venue spotlight: The Loft, Low Profile Studios.
Tucked away in North London, the space has quietly become a go-to for intimate club nights, creative gatherings and heads-down sessions.
Upstairs, The Loft is where it truly comes into its own — a close, low-ceiling room with a quality system and a natural flow between DJ and dancefloor, designed for long sets and a personal favourite among London’s underground spaces.
Stripped back and adaptable, Low Profile Studios offers an environment where music comes first, making it a mainstay for promoters and dancers across the full spectrum of London’s club sounds.
You know the drill, link in bio for the remaining tickets.
Spotlight - Jim Brown & Shiraz
Next on our lineup for the 10th, two of the most underrated producers and selectors around right now. Two artists who comfortably straddle deep digging and production, with catalogues shaped by hours spent honing ideas in studios and on decks alike.
Firstly, Jim Brown - if you’ve been to an Ascension party before, you know what Jim is all about. Deep, dark, spinny selections, carefully blended to curate sets and moments like no other. His productions and output in ‘25 have been nothing shy of inspiring, featuring on the likes of Trommel with his unique and innovative signature sound.
B2B with Jim is Shiraz, A key part of the Substate camp and fresh off the ‘Earthling EP’ release on the Ascension imprint. His sound moves between playful electro cuts, heavy, textured club tools and off-kilter, synth-led oddities. Shiraz is an artist we will watch for years to come - he is a seriously special talent with a very bright future in our scene.
If you don’t know about these two, The Loft on the 10th is the place to be!
Tickets are on the move - find yours via RA or the link in our bio.
Spotlight - Spuds, Eggs & Hand Grenades
Up next on our lineup for the 10th, we have the Midlands' finest, Spuds, Eggs & Hand Grenades.
These boys operate with a deep-rooted digging mentality, shaped by years spent in record shops, archives and low-lit rooms - building a cult following along the way.
Their selections move patiently through house, electro and techno, built for intimate floors and long sessions, rewarding dancers who value depth, detail and restraint.
With just over a week to go, general admission tickets are available now. Move quickly!
Spotlight - Keiran Hostead & George NB
With just a couple of weeks before we take over The Loft, it’s time to take a look at our selectors for the evening…
First up, Leeds based record collector Keiran Hostead. For those with keen ears, you will have heard Keiran’s ‘Soundscapes’ entry on the Ascension imprint earlier this year, which blew us away. This year he has moved from strength to strength, playing on lineups with the likes of Bobby, and featuring with other like minded collectives like ‘Stick to the Slug’ in Leeds whilst building a collection like no other.
B2B with Keiran is Ascension head honcho George NB. 2025 has seen a lot of output from George, with 6 releases this year, as well as numerous sets in London, Birmingham, and radio appearances and guest mixes a plenty. His careful curation of the Ascension discography and party has only strengthened his vision and selections - 2026 is sure to be his best year in the scene yet.
These boys will be setting the tone on the 10th from the off, rolling out some deep, minimal and immersive grooves.
Tickets via RA or in our bio.
