Did I have time to add a project with a deadline into my crochet schedule? Nooooo but at the end of the day I knew this would be a fast project and if I feel the urge to crochet an item because I think it will bring me joy? I will take on the extra work. I just can’t resist!🩷
For this, I wanted to use up some left over pink yarns I had from previous projects and I am so pleased with the end result👏🏻
🩷🌀gives off a bit of an optical illusion doesn’t it?🌀🩷
The pattern was VERY simple to follow, and the sky is the limit in terms of customization. I love a project that can be made 100 times and be a little different every time. Not only can you create endless combinations of colours, you can also choose from several choices when it comes to your straps making it very size inclusive🩷

Make sure you take on a project you fell 100% comfortable in finishing, but pattern testing is a great way to meet other crocheters🩷 It gives you the opportunity to network with other artists, to receive free/discounted rate patterns, and you get to practice your skills by learning new techniques.

I think it is about time I introduce myself and talk a little about how @redheadhooks came to be✨
Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m 26 and I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I was born in Cape Breton but when I was about 4 my mother and I moved to France 🇫🇷 to live with my stepfather (the only man I ever considered to be my father) and lived there until 2014. I have my dual nationality and being French is a very important part of my life🫶🏻
I work for the government during the day and during my spare time I love creating and designing clothes for @redheadhooks ❤️
Growing up, I remember being gifted a light up fashion designer sketchbook, the kind you can trace clothing items onto a model with, and from then on I knew I wanted to make clothes and work in the fashion industry.
Unfortunately, my household was not one that encouraged me to be a creative person. My parents wanted me to focus on choosing a living in a career with a more guaranteed “success” and felt that my intellect was being wasted by pursuing an artistic career.
This caused me to direct my time towards many other avenues that unfortunately brought me much less pleasure.
Upon meeting my boyfriend @nathaniel.cole.music he opened my eyes to the value there was in pursuing art and thanks to him I am where I am at today and I am eternally grateful for him for showing me that path🩵
I have never felt so much satisfaction and fulfillment 🩵
My advice to people who are bored when their partner is busy, or don’t know what to do other than scroll social media and online shop➡️GET A CREATIVE HOBBY👏🏻 you won’t regret it. The “high” you get from accomplishing something with your own two hands is unrivalled 🔥

As someone who cannot sing, @kendallcognac is one of those people that just blows my mind. She just opens her mouth and fire 🔥 comes out. She’s got the voice of an angel and some of amazing writing skills. Not to mention she also one of the sweetest and funniest gals I know.
