This past week I went to Adobe MAX in Los Angeles and got to sling my merch in the artist marketplace! I may be a bit bias here, but the marketplace is my favorite part of MAX because itās all independent artists selling their art in so many interesting forms. Prints, stickers, tees, originals ā just to name a few. Over the years, Iāve made some great friends tabling at creative conferences, so this one felt like a big reunion.
I really appreciate everyone who came by the booth and those who picked something up. I met so many new creatives, reconnected with others, and finally met some pals I had only known via the internet.
Hereās a peep at my booth set up. First purchase of the event came from @thechrisdo who put me on the spot with some numbers! š I gave out tons of my MAX exclusive UFO stickers. I also became friends and hat twinzies with @sagepizza .
Huge thank yous to:
@mikebanom for being my booth comrade and content capturer.
@adobecreativecloud for having me and making it a great event.
@stickerapp for being my sticker bff and those awesome UFO stickers!

Some photos of my solo show opening, OUTTA MIND last night at @studio6.nyc by the one and only @mikebanom . I had a blast, and it was better than I could have hoped for. Thanks to all of my friends, old and new, who came out to support. This night was great because you were there. We sold some art, had a moment of nostalgia with the sticker machine, and had a good time.
The show will be up until Wednesday, October 14th at Studio6 Gallery at 106 Rivington Street, NY NY, so come swing by, see some art, and try out the sticker machine. We still have some original art, prints, and pizza rat pins available!
Thanks to @sacsix for the opportunity
Thanks to @stickerapp for the stickers!
On Friday, I spent the day painting in Brooklyn at @eastnewyorkwalls . My second wall in the books! If youāre ever in East New York, itās right off the Alabama J train stop on the corner of Georgia Ave and Fulton St. Most of the walls are getting repainted this weekend, so lots of new street art to come from artists and graffiti writers contributing their time and talent for the love of painting.
Special thanks to @queensartcollective
Major thank you to @mikebanom for capturing footage of the process and assisting.
Itās easy to let the days slip by and get lost in the monotony, waiting for a particular day to come. But life is short and someday you might wish you could get those days back. Take a different way home, try something new, add something healthy to your routine, start the thing youāve been putting off, donāt bail on the plans you have tonight. The little choices you make each day can compound into a lived life or an un-lived life.
I have plans for this design Iāll share soon that involves some spray paint. š
This quote āDonāt count the days, make the days countā is attributed to Muhammad Ali, and I never knew that prior to drawing something with it. I think I saw it as a sticker first a very long time ago. Quotes are weird like that.
I havenāt shared a swords tarot card in a while. Hereās the Eight of Swords. Itās generally considered the most doom and gloom suit in the deck.
ā
Upright Meaning
The upright Eight of Swords can represent feeling trapped or backed into a corner by your circumstances. Itās a card of hopelessness and helplessness. You may feel like the situation youāre in is beyond your control, and you have no agency. However, this card warns that your thoughts and beliefs are not serving you. Negative thought patterns and self-limiting beliefs are what keep you confined. The fact is, you do have choices, even if you do not like them.Ā
ā
Reverse Meaning
The reverse Eight of Swords represents maturity and taking responsibility for yourself after a long struggle. Youāre understanding how to break the cycle of negative self-talk, doubt, and limiting beliefs. This card encourages you to continue letting go of old patterns to continue to make your way to the light at the end of the tunnel.
A piece I painted for the @subwaycreatures and @studio6.nyc art show that opens tonight! This show is all about the wild, strange, and beautiful moments of underground life. Hereās a peek at the process and journey to drop the piece off, taking the subway, of course.
Come through and check out the work!

The first tote bag I ever made was for back to back design conferences that I was going to table at. I thought they would be a good in-person product since you end up with so much stuff to carry around. I didnāt consider that at both conferences theyād be giving out tote bags, so I ended up sitting on these. š Lesson learned.
With that said, I have these very stocked in my shop.
The only rabbit hole worth going down is the one where you see what youāre truly capable of.
I made this one into a pixie dust sticker for something a little different. āØš
Wishing may be a direction, but it will lead you nowhere and likely yield you nothing. If you want something, you need to stand for it, take action, and not be passive. This is true for all parts of life.
I came across this quote recently, and felt compelled to make something with it. Itās a quote attributed to Clementine Paddleford, a food writer active during the 1920s-60s. I havenāt been feeling inspired to make any new art with quotes or sayings lately, but this one struck a chord. Maybe itās the state of the world, or maybe itās just a banger of a quote. Or, maybe itās both.
The full quote is as actually āNever grow a wishbone, daughter, where a backbone ought to beā. Unfortunately, I couldnāt find any context around it or why it was said. Itās one of those stand alone quotes, lost to non-digital archives. But, the sentiment endures.
I painted this piece about loss, having lost my dog Dunkin 2 months before my art show. Today would have been our 11th year with him. We never knew his real birthday or exact age, but his age was estimated at 2yrs when we adopted him. I still miss that little pup all the time.
Donāt forget to make time for those in your life that you care about. Weāre lucky that our lifetimes overlap as much as they do, so make the most of it. Time will eventually leave everyone behind.

Another day, another knight. See what I did there? Bad puns. Anyway, this Knight of Cups Tarot card is about creativity and dreams again. Canāt go wrong with that. You can read more about its meaning on a few slides in. Enjoy the weekend āļø
