ROAST WITH REDMPTION: London Coffee Festival Edition 🍒🍒🍒
We can’t get enough of Cherry Sours - our newest fermented single origin on our @londoncoffeefestival line up.
Produced in Colombia by Rodrigo Sanchez, the production of this coffee is less process, and more art form. At Finca El Eden, 1500 metres up in Palestina’s Samaria district, the environment allows for evergreen flowering, which means endless opportunities for experimentation. Before the coffee cherry arrives, Rodrigo builds a starter culture, comprising of ten yeasts and bacteria, including Lactobacillus and Saccharomyces, fed with blackberry, strawberry, and panela sugar. After fermenting for 150 hours, the pulped coffee joins for another 150. The result is notes of cherry, hibiscus, and rose buds, crafting what we deem an unforgettable cup of microbiology merged with coffee.

THE KING’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE 🏆
We’re proud to share that Redemption Roasters has received a King’s Award for Enterprise, recognising our work in promoting opportunity through social mobility.
For the past 10 years, we’ve been working to reduce reoffending through coffee, employing prison residents and training prison leavers and those at risk of offending.
That work is having a real impact. In 2025, we saw 0% known reoffending among employed Participants, compared to a national average of 38%, and today over a third of our shop team are Participants.
We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and excited to keep building what comes next.
