Nef was one of the first amputees I took up a 14,000 ft peak, and he helped pave the way for what we do in making sure amputees are given the opportunity to push themselves physically and mentally!

Redefined Prosthetics was proud to present @amputeebladerunners a check to cover one complete prosthetic running leg for a child today. This organization provides free running prosthetics to children that are not normally covered by medical insurance. ABR uses their expertise in the field of prostheses to provide amazing resources to children who have an amputation.
Thank you to those who have donated to the mission. Many more good things to come from ReDefined Prosthetics as we continue to provide resources to children, their families, and the amputee community as a whole.
We have been told that the physical requirements and intensity of our 14,000 ft events is beyond the comfort zone of amputees, specifically younger amputees….
And honestly?!

Hiking up to 14,000+ feet isn’t in anyone’s comfort zone especially if you’re missing a leg, arm, or have a limb difference.
We’re sure a wise man somewhere has said that a life lived in comfort isn’t much of a life. For an amputee or someone in the limb difference community, a day filled with comfort is rarely present. Limiting yourself to not pushing your own physical and mental boundaries is the fast track way to live an unfulfilled life.
Redefined prosthetics wasn’t founded on sympathy.
We look to give people a path forward in pushing past their comfort zone and helping others do so along the way!

Less than 3 months until we are back for another 14,000 ft challenge up in Colorado! In short, the 14,000 ft challenge is where we do rad stuff with rad people who just happen to be missing a part or two and then go pig out on ice cream. Simple formula, life changing results 🤙

As we are gearing up for our 2026 event, we wanted to give a shout to our volunteers who came out for our 2025 event and help make everything possible for our amputee hikers.
There are quite a few logistical items that go into putting on our events we couldn’t do it with people volunteering their skill set to make sure we put on a safe event!

PS: I would be remiss to not shoutout one of our most important volunteers who we didn’t get a picture of from last years event @yellohdean . She is by far my favorite mother-in-law and keeps the entire ReDefined crew feed during our events!
