Happy Birthday to the man behind the vision, our CEO Caleb Marsh 🎉
Most people see the leader. We get to see the bloopers, random moments, questionable decisions, and the chaos in between. Today we’re celebrating all of it.
Happy Birthday Caleb. Keep building, keep leading, and maybe keep giving us content like this 👀
🚨Big announcement from the Redd Legend team.🚨
We’ve officially merged with Songbird Productions — a Phoenix-based video production company known for helping colleges and universities tell powerful stories that attract students and grow their brands.
Songbird has worked with incredible institutions like ASU, Maricopa Community Colleges, and the Phoenix Committee on Public Relations, creating videos that make an impact.
Songbird will continue with the involvement of storyteller and founder Tommy Mac, and together we’re expanding Songbird’s ability to serve higher education institutions across the country.
More stories.
More impact.
More to come.
This setup was all about intention.
Our client wanted a clean, cinematic look that still felt natural—something that made their message stand out without distractions.
We built a soft book light using the 600D, bounced and diffused for a smooth key on the talent’s left side. A practical added warmth, negative fill brought contrast, and a snoot light gave the background texture. A subtle hair light finished the look, separating the talent just enough to create depth.
We paired it with a slow slider push to pull the viewer in, making the single line feel powerful and grounded.
Pain-free lighting—balanced, motivated, and full of character.
At Redd Legend, we love turning simple spaces into cinematic ones. 🎥 This backyard interview setup used three Blackmagic cameras (Pyxis 6K, 6K, and Pocket 4K) powered entirely by natural sunlight.
To shape the light, we added:
☀️ A 4x floppy for negative fill
☁️ A 4x silk to diffuse the sun as our soft key
⬜️ A white bounce board to lift shadows under the face
It’s all about control — using what’s available and shaping it to tell the story beautifully.
At the recent panel, Caleb shared how AI is leveling the playing field for small businesses.
With the ability to crunch massive amounts of customer and social media data instantly, small teams no longer need dedicated analysts or custom algorithms—just the right tools and the willingness to iterate.
Redd Legend captured this moment to highlight how today’s businesses can move faster, smarter, and with more clarity than ever.
Proper Site Services came to Redd Legend wanting to show the precision, speed, and skill their team brings to every project.
We captured them in action—turning hard work into something that looks effortlessly cool because their dedication deserves more than a before-and-after photo.
Now, their audience can see exactly why Proper is the go-to crew when the job needs to be done right.
