We couldn’t be prouder to officially open our new showroom at 153 Goswell Road, Clerkenwell, London. It’s been 10 years in the making, and we are very excited to introduce our brand to an amazing community of designers. For those of you who are new to our brand, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce (or reintroduce) ourselves. We are a progressive Australian furniture brand, bringing our designs to life in our very own workshop in Indonesia. Our mission is simple: we create versatile, sustainable furniture that never compromises on exceptional design. We believe that sustainability should be simple; that's why we largely use materials that already exist, such as premium discarded materials like reclaimed solid teak and recycled plastics. Every piece in our collection is hand-crafted by skilled artisans who expertly blend modern silhouettes with traditional, human-led craftsmanship. We bridge the gap between off-the-shelf and custom. Our designs can be tailored by material and size to ensure you find your perfect fit. Our showroom aims to be more than a retail store; it's a workshop for designers to play around with our materials and bring a tailored REDDIE piece to life. Stop by and say hi. We will be hosting a launch event during Clerkenwell Design Week, where our craftsmen will be doing a live demonstration on how we turned reclaimed wood into a refined piece. Did you know Australia generates 30,000 tonnes of commercial furniture waste annually? Commercial furniture often has short lifespans, costly repairs, and is difficult to recycle due to hazardous materials like glues and fire retardants. At REDDIE, we’re changing the game with our ‘Made to Order’ business model and use of largely reclaimed and recycled materials. Learn more about how we reduce waste and promote sustainability in the furniture industry.

The Workshop: Head downstairs from the ground-floor gallery, and you'll find yourself in a moody, dedicated workspace. We designed this lower level as a retreat for visiting designers to unwind, grab a snack, and let the creativity flow. Once you've explored our collection upstairs, this is where the fun really begins. It houses our extensive material library, allowing you to mix, match, and collaborate with our in-house design team to tailor our pieces perfectly to your space. Also in the workshop is a dedicated outdoor furniture area and a collection of workplace products.

Located at 153 Goswell Road, our new home is a beautiful blend of old and new. Originally a bank in the 1800s, we’ve paired the building’s historic, original ceilings with sleek, modern walls. Our goal was to create a clean, gallery-like space that acts as the perfect canvas to showcase our story. The space also acts as a great collaborative space for designers to come in and enjoy the process of tailoring our pieces. Fun fact: There is a heavy safe in the back closet that has been completely welded shut. We have no idea what's inside, and it will always be a point of mystery for us!

The inspiration behind COMBO comes down to one shared mission: material innovation that can hold up in high-traffic environments. For @naturalbrick_ it’s a step towards scale. Taking reclaimed stone and salvaged aggregates beyond one-off pieces and into commercially-viable furniture solutions. For Reddie, it’s about pushing circular materials further and introducing a more sustainable option to our house stone range. Always looking for more options that are durable, genuinely long-lasting, and visually at home alongside our core material, solid FSC reclaimed teak wood. Different specialisations but the same intention. Both businesses are tackling an overwhelming waste problem and reimagining reclaimed materials for more responsible specification choices.

A balmy evening at Avia in Darlinghurst celebrating the launch of COMBO with our design partners. It was the first chance to see the range in person, with Cass, REDDIE Australia Manager, and Will, Natural Brick Director, sharing the story behind the collection and how the collaboration came together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of celebrating, catching up, and enjoying great drinks and snacks while spilling out onto Taylor Square. And thank you to @avia_restaurant_ for being the perfect host!

Reddie’s much-loved designs, Rita, Milton, Cinta, Suzy and Dora, now reimagined with @naturalbrick_ ’s terrazzo slabs made with stone salvaged from commercial waste, discarded architectural library samples, and discontinued stock. Adaptable to both indoor and outdoor settings, COMBO is shaped by a shared focus on in-built sustainability, durability and longevity. The COMBO Cinta, Milton and Dora. Three pieces, three moods. Cinta Cafe Stool keeps its signature curved backrest/handle and enhances the playfulness with a recycled terrazzo seat pad. Milton Low Stool remains simple and uncomplicated with a clean, minimal frame that’s now topped with vibrant stone. And Dora Drum Table stays monolithic in its profile but adds a bit of party in the top with a round recycled terrazzo slab. Every piece is adaptable through colour and material combinations. Choose your frame material and finish, then pair it with one of Natural Brick’s four recycled terrazzo colourways. Photography: @hamishmcintosh
