Can’t really say enough about the combo of Tuff UKG + Redders Vocals… He just sounds fully legit. Took me a while to get the beat right on this one, but as is so often the way, bouncing 808s turned out to be the key. And who else but @reddersuk could get away with such absolute cheekiness as ‘I got hard drive, them man are still floppily’ or ‘dickory dockery, I get ahead while you be there clocking me’ - I love it.
Super excited to announce that I have remixed the iconic “Lef Dem” by @sambingamusic + @reddersuk , dropping this Friday 13/09 on @critical_music . An absolute label classic, I was initially worried that I had strayed too far and it took me a little while to pluck up the courage to show it to Sam and Kasra I can’t lie😭. Gassed that they both loved it and I hope you all do too🫶🏼. Feels great to successfully put my own spin on such a staple. I definitely felt pressure to do it justice, but overalI I really enjoyed the process of making this and it came together really quickly🥰. Pre save link in bio❤️
