A Taste of Jamaica cooking class is happening next Tuesday! Chef Lauren has come up with an exceptional recipe this go around. What's on the menu?
Start the evening with crisp plantain chips served alongside a Jamaican-style mango chutney. Students will then prepare the star of the night — authentic jerk chicken — learning the balance of spice, heat, and aromatics that make this dish iconic. The meal is paired with classic Jamaican rice and peas. To finish on a sweet note, each guest will take home a traditional cornmeal pudding.
$75 per person.

2026 has been a heck of a year so far.
Through it all, our volunteers have been troopers.
They've stood with us through renovations and the many changes that means.
Through new faces and spaces.
Through different protocols and practices.
Through all the Jenga towers in the warehouse, drywall and sawdust, and logjams in the parking lot.
