This November, our local police departments are teaming up with Red Corner Benefit for “No Shave November” — in support of 12-year-old CHASE HUYETT from Berks County.
Chase is a spirited and active kid who loves football, rugby, and spending time with his younger brother (10) and sister (6).
In March 2025, Chase was diagnosed with a Pilocytic Astrocytoma — a rare brain tumor intertwined with his brain stem and spinal cord. Because of its delicate location, surgery isn’t possible. Chase is currently undergoing a targeted oral chemotherapy designed specifically for the genetic makeup of his tumor, with one goal in mind: to stop its growth.
Despite the challenges, Chase’s courage and determination are nothing short of inspiring. After just three months of treatment, doctors saw unexpected shrinkage in the tumor. Even more incredible — Chase has regained his balance and mobility, allowing him to return to the sports and activities he loves.
Throughout November, our local police departments will set down their razors and grow out their beards to raise funds that will go directly to Chase and his family as they fight for his health and future.
All proceeds from “No Shave November,” along with Christmas gifts for Chase and his siblings, will be presented to the family in December.
