Less than three years after the $4B sale of Rally Health as its Founder and CEO, @GrantVerstandig4 founded @RedCellPartners with the goal of building technology-led companies that would make a lasting impact on U.S. healthcare, cyber, and national security.
Just over five years later, we've built a portfolio of nearly 20 companies – 13 from the ground up – and raised nearly $500M across the firm and our incubations. At the center of it all, Grant continues to guide our companies through their many stages of growth, from launching Trase's next-gen AI infrastructure to recently raising $30M for Claros's data center power management platform.
Go behind-the-scenes with @wbjnewsroom 's Sara Gilgore to get a glimpse at Red Cell's operations, Grant's career, and our collective commitment to creating a healthier and safer world for the next generation – link in bio.
Life-changing medications like GLP-1s aren’t reaching the people who could most benefit from them—not because of scarcity, but because of a benefits model built for a different era.
Opaque fees, rebate-driven incentives, and layers of middlemen have left everyday working Americans frustrated with a system that promises access but consistently fails to deliver it.
Having witnessed this dysfunction firsthand at Rally Health, @grantverstandig4 , Chip Nash, and @naimish built Crux, a no-fee benefits platform that contracts directly with pharmaceutical manufacturers, passing their pricing through to employers at cost.

Today's warfare is evolving faster than at any point in modern history and the window to respond is narrow.
Red Cell exists to meet this moment. We build technology companies to solve our nation's most pressing problems in national security, healthcare, and beyond.
Hear from our President, David Silverman, on why our mission remains critical.
March was an exciting month across the Red Cell ecosystem. Our portfolio company, Claros, closed a $30M seed round and was named one of DC’s most promising startups. At the same time, we continued to attract top talent as our team made news and took the stage at leading conferences.

Thirteen months ago, we launched Claros with a simple but ambitious goal: to safeguard our nation from a looming energy crisis by reimagining how power is sourced, used, and stored in data centers.
Today we co-led their $30M seed round with @generalcatalyst to reimagine data center power from chip to grid. Joining us were new and existing partners like Systemiq Capital, Aero X Ventures, Trenches Capital, and others.
With its integrated voltage regulator and DC-native power distributor, Claros is significantly improving AI chips’ power efficiency, reducing energy waste, and making the entire data center operation more resilient.
