Good vibes with neighbors, tons of snacks, Polaroids, and a whole lot of conversations about the future of NY-7. Shoutout to @picturemanbob for capturing it all.
This is what a grassroots campaign looks like: a park hang that isnāt lame.
June 23 is coming. Letās keep building. See you at the next one.

Some portrait selections from @humansofny Dear NY photography submission project. I wanted to share these portraits because Iām really excited to share that I was NOT selected from this competition to have my work shared amongst 10 other photographers!!! My heart sank when I received the email, and although my immediate reaction was to be discouraged and disappointed, I am so grateful that opportunities like this even exist. I canāt wait to see and celebrate the work of the incredible photographers, and behold the beauty of what Dear New Yorkās book, exhibition, and project is all about. Brandonās ethos in his work and documentation come so genuinely and authenticity, itās really such a beautiful thing to see how much impact you can have by giving those a chance to tell their story, as well as giving back to the community in such a powerful and positive way. My hopes are to one day be able to pay it forward with my art on a much larger scale, and continue to feed into community growth. But that doesnāt mean that we canāt all make an impact today!! Iām humbled daily being a full time artist, and this is just another one of those humbling moments and a reminder that I will never stop pushing to learn, grow, inspire, and be inspired! Thank you for allowing me to continue to share my passion, and helping build a brighter community together through art and understanding. I also didnāt win the powerball either so I guess itās back to the park for me š¤·š¾āāļø (but letās be real if I won Iād still be out taking photos)
Have you looked at the Red Brick Square lately? Bob and Jaclyn have a new connection game that's running Fri, Sat, and Sun through September! (weather permitting and with a few weekends off ofc š)

Rainy weather this week, but join us this Saturday 5/10 and Sunday 5/11 to see what fun we will have in store!
So grateful to choose my own path.
It comes with great Uncertainty, discomfort,
and stress at times.
But oh is it so fulfilling.
Thank you to those who Iāve crossed paths.
Youāve allowed me to become who I am.
Who I will continue to be.
I want people to crack out of their shells.
Away from societal pressures, and succumb to vulnerability through community and art.
Suffering is inevitable.
Letās seek Joy together.
