Last month, I had the great honor of my film To My Dearest Red being selected for the Nitehawk Shorts Festival!! What an amazing experience!! So many incredibly talented filmmakers, and I can’t believe I got to stand up there with them ❤️

My mom Andi was able to travel out to NYC to celebrate the day with me 🌃💃🏻 Now, in a little less than two weeks, I get to fly out to Sydney to celebrate her in being a chosen speaker for the International Psychoanalytical Association!!! Deeply exciting time for my family recently, feeling so grateful :)

My best friend turned 26 yesterday!! You all will have to bare with me, for I fear I am and will forever be obsessed with this human.
Almost a year ago I started my internship at the LGBT Center in Manhattan. My first job in the big city, in all my excitement I forgot to charge my phone and it died before I could figure out how to get home. I was washing my hands in the bathroom when I noticed the stranger beside me seemed kind enough to help me. I introduced myself and asked if they could help me navigate. By some weird fate, out of all the places in the huge city, they were going a block away from where I needed to be.
How wild to have that person who happened to need to pee at the same time as me be a huge chunk of my world now!
To know Kade is to love Kade. I am continuously inspired by their ability to build and hold community, their endless love and joy, their talent, ability to capture the perfection in every moment. Kade taught me how to better care for the world and myself. People like Kade remind me how absolutely beautiful life can be.
