RECORD STORE DAY WEEKEND 2026 AT RECORD STOP CHARLESTON! 🎸🤘🏼 We’re celebrating RSD all weekend long this year, and we’re excited to share the lineup with everyone. ☕️ Morning Session: The store will open at 8AM on Saturday, and we’ll have door prizes + giveaways for our early morning shoppers! Once you’ve made your purchase, head around the corner and up the stairs to @recordstoploft , our HiFi listening lounge. With proof of purchase, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a track off your new RSD pick up and hear it on our fully restored sound system. The Loft will also have COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE + DONUTS (while they last), and our bar will be open with wine, beer, bubbles, and specialty sake-mimosas for purchase. 🕺🏼 Afternoon Session: @ox_the_architect pulls up from Atlanta via Long Island with the crates. Deep cuts of rare funk, soul, ’80s rock, boogie, disco, and house. Locked in all afternoon, stretching into the evening. Ya’ll are in for a treat!! 🎤 Evening Session: Our resident DJ, @RealJLive , is taking over the decks for the evening and bringing the heat with an all-vinyl dj set of classic R&B, funk, soul, and hip hop. ⭐️There will be a $10 cover at the door starting at 1pm for the afternoon and evening sets, or 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒆 from Saturday at Record Stop. For 17 days and nights each spring, the festival fills historic spaces around town with various performances, conversations, and concerts. 🎷 This Friday May 8, we’re welcoming Spoleto General Director & CEO Mena Mark Hanna upstairs for an evening of music, wine, and conversation. WaxRapsodic has evolved… Introducing 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑰𝑪, a new monthly residency with @realjlive . Rooted in vinyl and opened up to a broader spectrum of sound. Classic R&B, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and Rock - the records that define their era and still move the room today. Starting this weekend, we’re shifting to the first Friday of every month. And the other thing?
