Once again adidas has cemented it’s place as the iconic sportswear brand. When they came to us with the idea of using MC Solaar’s Nouveau Western for their latest Superstar campaign, it immediately took us back to the mid 90s. An iconic French hip hop track that still sounds as fresh today as it did back then šŸŽ¶ The song reflects the timeless nature of the featured Superstars (Missy Elliott, Mark Gonzales and Jennie to name a few). New case: music supervision and licensing for the @primevideose original š’±š’¾š’¶š’æš‘’ š’¹š‘’ š¹š’¾š“ƒ š’¹š‘’ š’žš“Šš“‡š“ˆš‘œ: š‘€š’¶š“š“š‘œš“‡š’øš’¶ Starting with joyful, carefree beats and progressing into layered, reflective resonance by the end, the music selection showcases the cultural context from 2021, when many teenagers were denied some of the most relevant years of their lives. Complex negotiations secured key tracks, spanning from independent artists (MJ Nebreda, Soto Asa) to global superstars (Sia, Charli XCX), in order to deliver cultural and emotional contrasts within the film’s sonic arc.
