Hey, I’m John Hoffman. I’m a producer/recording engineer from Cincinnati, Ohio. Making records is something I enjoy more than anything and I am lucky enough to have worked on 300 different artists’ music between the years 2012 and 2024. My studio is a repurposed, three story Masonic Temple called @thelodge_ky . It’s equipped with a vast collection modern and vintage equipment, clown dolls and it might even be haunted… If you can’t make it to the Cincinnati area to record, I am also available for travel sessions. STRANGE DEVOTION IS OUT EVERYWHERE NOW 🌀 buy / stream it at link in bio It feels surreal to finally share with you when we’ve put so much love & devotion(!) into it for the past two years. Heartbreak came out on September 15, 2023 and I started writing songs for Strange Devotion immediately after. We went into the studio in January 2024. I write lots & lots of songs—we recorded about 15 or so during these sessions and whittled it down to the 10 best tracks. I challenged myself to keep going until things were just right—I played more instruments, the performances are tighter, and creatively John Hoffman and I had more fun in the studio. This album would be non-existent without John Hoffman. Thank you John for putting just as much if not more work into this than me lol… he engineered, co-produced, co-mixed the record and co-wrote almost every song with me. Our new album Junior is out everywhere today! This record means everything to us. It is a culmination of blood, sweat and tears, all of the sleepless nights on the road, the trials and tribulations, love, grief and loss. Making this record with @tommayallday and @record.with.john at @thelodge_ky was one of the most special moments in my life. I hope that everyone who listens to it can feel even 1/10th of what I felt in the dimly lit studio screaming Cowgirl In The Dark for @pamelaanderson . I hope that it gives representation to the trans masc folks out there who feel the same way that I do. I hope that it gives a sense of righteous vengeance to anyone that has been abused, I hope that enough people care about it so that we are able to go on the road full time and share it with even more people.
