Cinema is the only escape this town has ever had. Malegaon is six hours from Mumbai. A textile town where factory workers clock in before sunrise and pack into video parlours after dark to watch Bollywood on big screens for a fraction of what a real cinema ticket costs. Films are not entertainment here. They are survival. So when a wedding videographer with no money and no industry decided to make his own, his town showed up. Because they had always been watching other people’s stories. And for once something on screen looked like them. Superboys of Malegaon is not really about filmmaking. It is about a group of people who had no system, no platform, no path, and built one from nothing. With roller skates and speeding trucks and friends who showed up even when it made no sense to. One of those friends died before any of it was recognised. Before the documentary. Before TIFF. Before Bollywood came looking. He just showed up. Every single time. Soldier Boy will not be present in The Boys series finale, officially making Episode 7 his last appearance on the main show. Showrunner Eric Kripke revealed the twisted psychology behind Homelander putting him back on ice right before the climax. Homelander’s severe abandonment issues pushed him over the edge, and he simply could not handle his father walking away again. Kripke explained that keeping Soldier Boy asleep forever is a massive win for Homelander because his father will always be there and will never talk back. Ackles even managed to slip in one final Supernatural Easter egg before leaving, looping in the line about fixing up the old Impala during post production as a final nod to his run. While his time in the present day timeline is over, Jensen Ackles is not done with the universe. Soldier Boy will only be seen next headlining the upcoming prequel series Vought Rising alongside Stormfront.

What does it take for a country to call you a terrorist? In this country, sometimes just a name. Zaheer spent two and a half years in a cell. Bail rejected ten times. Not because the state had evidence. Because the state had a feeling. Because a bomb went off somewhere and someone needed to be sitting in a room for it and Zaheer had the wrong name at the wrong time in the wrong country. Shahid stands in that courtroom and asks it plainly. If his name was something else, would he still be here. The courtroom knows the answer. That’s why nobody says it. This is what Hansal Mehta understood about this country that most filmmakers are too careful to say. That innocence in this country is not the default. Not for everyone. For some people, the accusation is the sentence. The trial is just paperwork around a decision that was already made the night they were picked up. Shahid Azmi knew this because it was done to him first. He came out of six years in Tihar and instead of walking away from all of it, he walked into a courtroom. For Zaheer. For everyone who had nobody else. He was killed in his office in 2010. The case was never solved. Delaying justice is denying justice. In this country, for some people, that delay has no end date. Movie: Shahid

Showrunner Eric Kripke has officially confirmed that the series finale of The Boys will not follow the industry trend of “super-sized” final episodes. The series conclusion is locked at a runtime of exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes. Addressing the decision to avoid a feature-length finale, Kripke stated that he prioritized pacing over duration. The creator noted that expanding the runtime further risked dragging the story, remarking that the audience might have ended up getting bored if it was longer. By keeping the finale to 65 minutes, the production team aims to deliver a lean, high-stakes conclusion that maintains the show’s signature intensity without the use of filler content often found in movie-length streaming finales.

Seven years of our lives for this. And now we have exactly sixty minutes left to fix a mess that feels like it needs a whole other season. And honestly I hope I am wrong. I want to be wrong. I want to sit through that final hour and be reminded why this show was the best thing on TV for nearly a decade. I just want the story I fell in love with to get the ending it actually deserves. The theatrical run for Mera Lyari has ended in a historic disaster. Despite being framed as the official response to the Indian blockbuster Dhurandhar, the film was a total rejection by the public. Trade reports confirm it sold a grand total of just 22 tickets before theater owners pulled the plug to stop the losses With exactly 22 tickets sold across its entire run, theater owners didn’t wait for the weekend to end. They’ve already scrubbed the film from schedules to reclaim screen space for titles that actually move the needle.

The second to last episode of the final season has officially arrived to a mixed reception from the global audience. Episode 7 has landed a 7.1 rating on IMDb, which marks a significant low point for the series as it prepares for its ultimate conclusion. This score makes it the worst rated episode of the current season and the second lowest rated episode in the entire seven year history of the franchise. After seven years of maintaining high standards, this rare dip in quality comes at a crucial time with only one episode left to go. Fans and critics are pointing toward the latest narrative choices as the reason for the sudden drop in viewer satisfaction. The pressure is now on the production team to deliver a massive series finale next week to restore the show’s reputation and give the fans the closure they need. While the series remains a global hit, this current score reflects a rare moment of vulnerability for the brand. Everyone is now waiting to see if the finale can fix the momentum, stick the landing, and end the seven year saga on a high note.

There is a very specific kind of comfort in watching people who have absolutely no reason to care for each other decide to stay anyway. Sometimes the people you share DNA with just do not get you. Sometimes life simply isolates you and leaves you stranded. But then cinema gives us these beautiful reminders that belonging is a choice. You watch a man stranded in a foreign airport build a community out of the staff, or a grumpy widower slowly realize his chaotic new neighbors are exactly what he needs to keep breathing. You watch a strict teacher and a troubled student stuck in an empty boarding school realize they are not invisible anymore. That is the entire magic of a found family movie. It is the cinematic equivalent of the warmest and most reassuring hug you could possibly ask for. It tells you that even if you feel completely alienated or broken right now, there are people out there who will eventually look at you, embrace all your flaws, and decide you are exactly where you belong. We put together our absolute favorite films that capture this feeling perfectly. Keep this list saved for the days you need a reminder that you are not alone.
