Yesterday was amazing as I got to interview the iconic @vdpdmg2 at @base_302 if you aren’t familiar with Deborah Mannis-Gardner she has over 3 decades of experience in the music industry and is the person you go to to get samples cleared. Having here in our city was a big deal as creatives in the 302 we don’t typically get this type of access so to have a free event of this caliber for artists, producers, videographers, photographers, film writers, game designers, song writers etc is something I’m proud to be a part of. S/O to all the creatives who attended and were able to ask questions, get the education, network, and now collaborate. I’m finally starting to see the shift of what I envisioned seeing my city and state embrace collectivism to create opportunities and access and become on hub to push our music to the world. We have 8 dope Vendors, 15 amazing performers, 8 deserving and inspirational honorees, Hip Hop Royalty & Legends, An incredible Host, one of the best DJs in the area, surprise guests, and more.
