I wrote this song in the trenches of my mind, I was in a state of despair. I return to that state here and there, as we human beings do. This song is a call for help; not from anyone else, but from a stronger version of myself. I try to remind myself even when times are hard, that “I would rather live”, and I hope that each and every one of you find the strength to do the same. If you are reading this, I love you, and this song is for you, from my heart, to yours.
