My life has not been the same since... This is definitely click bait...well sorta! 😝 That first tandem did change my life. I didn't know that skydiving was a sport that people did for fun and I definitely didn't know that it was a job. I took the first jump course the next day. The course was 6 hours long and was supposed to teach me how to survive my first jump. I didn't feel ready. I didn't jump that day or for two whole weeks afterwards, but eventually the desire to overcome the fear was greater than the fear itself. I struggled. I was scared. It took me 9 months to finally commit to getting my skydiving license and then I proceeded to jump every 👏🏼 single 👏🏼 day 👏🏼 I wanted to be an instructor. There were tears. There were injuries. But there was also a burning desire to achieve something that I never thought possible. I was never meant to do this. Did you guys know that I am technically a teacher 🤓 I actually enjoy that part of being a skydiving instructor the most. Breaking down the information and adapting it to different learning styles is half the challenge. • bridge day baby 💞 A PSA to fellow jumpers: we thought an 8” difference in PC size would create more vertical separation than it did. What we didn’t do is take into account other involved factors (i.e. me flying an ultralight canopy).
