Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle drops next year and Haruo Sotozaki's pulling out every stop for the final battle. The Infinity Castle itself is the real star here, this impossible M.C. Escher nightmare of shifting rooms and gravity-defying architecture.
Sotozaki's team hand-drew every single room transition. No shortcuts, no copy-paste geometry. When Tanjiro falls through floor after floor of this twisted maze, every frame was crafted by animators working 14-hour days to make physics feel beautifully wrong. The castle breathes, shifts, toys with the characters like a living thing. Ufotable's production notes show over 2,000 individual room designs that never made it into the final film.
