The Ami Midnight Trousers began with a familiar irritation: wide-leg trousers that promise drama, then collapse into nothing the second you move. Either the pleats vanish, or the shape gives potato sack. Rarely chic. Never both.
These are the exception.
Cut in a fluid rayon blend with a soft handfeel and clean structure, they drape wide without losing intention. The fabric moves with you, not against you and holds the pleat line from morning coffee to midnight plans. Which, frankly, is the whole point.
The front pleats are deep and precise, designed to stay sharp through the day. The silhouette is generous, but disciplined. Volume with direction. Ease with edge.
They work anywhere a good trouser should: office, studio, dinner, gallery opening.
There are two lengths: the original and a longer version with an additional 6 cm. Same fit just more length for taller people who have spent enough of their lives looking like their trousers gave up too soon.
The only branding is the REAMO patch on the right thigh. Quiet, deliberate and only noticeable to the people who tend to notice these things.
Only 40 pieces were made.
