Yesterday was a reminder that life is fragile and every breath is a gift from God.
Yesterday in the mountains with 6+ feet of fresh snow when everything happened in a split second. The sled rolled and came down on top of me, pinning me into the snow. I still had my tether clipped so the sled wouldn’t shut off, and I couldn’t move at all.
My hands were completely stuck. Snow packed into my helmet and everything went pitch black under the sled. I couldn’t breathe and there was nothing I could do besides Pray.
Thankfully Sal and Cole got to me within about a minute and a half and dug me out.
Standing up and catching my breath after something like that really makes you realize how fragile life is.
I’m sharing this because moments like that remind you not to take a single day for granted and how important the people around you are.
Grateful to still be here today.
