art is so fun when u just throw shit at the paper (canvas whatever). sharing things made without the intention of sharing… can be good ?
it may not have technique or good composition… i hate thinking [about what im making]. i dont think anything else really matters when you look at what it is or feel how you feel when something is yours. many creative people want to be seen, remembered, or change the world. And nothing’s wrong with that. but i dont think my art changes the world. i feel pretentious calling it art & have always felt somehow guilty for creating ‘selfishly’. it cant be my career (or maybe im not believing in it enough) because of $ and it would wear down my passion. it means little to anyone but me, and if someone asks a question about it, i dodge it. what i say doesnt matter if you look at something i make. it becomes its own thing, yours and mine, and it is what it is. that can maybe make a spark for now that some people say is changing the world just for a second. if that’s what it is, then ill pat myself on the back. i forgot where i was going with this. i love you. make something?
