Ilene Fox is a remarkable guest who co-founded Realize Harmony with her late husband, Allan Fox. Allan was a creative visionary who shared motivational messages of kindness, peace, gratitude, and love through his doodles, writings, songs, and animations.
His inspiration came from various philosophies, including Stoicism and Buddhism, and he planned to retire from his career in Human Resources to pursue his passion for the arts in a way that would help others by spreading mindful thoughts of peace and love.
Ilene is a passionate educator and a giving mom, sister, daughter, and friend who uses her late husband's drawings as a way to teach kids to express themselves. Realize Harmony began as a production house under Allan's creative vision, and continues to push Allan’s work of “Doodles” which he published in 2020, it was a collection of his creative pieces. When Allan suddenly passed away 14 months after they married, Ilene became inspired to promote his legacy by sharing his music, art, and ideas in her classroom.
Ilene's dedication to promoting Allan's legacy has become a movement expanding to other school districts and beyond. She is a testament to the power of love and the enduring impact of art and ideas on future generations. As a podcast guest, Ilene would inspire listeners with her passion for education, love, and the transformative power of art.

For those new to Realize Harmony~~who was Allan Fox?
Allan Fox was a master of inspirational doodles, a singer songwriter, animator, writer and one amazing creative soul. He spent more than 40 years as a human resource executive and retired to pursue his creative endeavors full-time. Unfortunately, he suddenly passed away 8 months after his retirement, but his doodles, music and creativity live on. Doodles, Volume One is a book that will surely inspire you to be your best self and spread messages of love, peace, gratitude and kindness.
His wife Ilene-alongside the “movement brigade” are continuing to spread Allan’s messages while inspiring people of all ages to create empowering messages.

I met Margo when she first opened Barrier Beets and I knew she was going to be a success. This would’ve been mine and Allan’s go to place for sure. If you haven’t tried it yet~~GO!
So here’s a little sneak peek before Allan’s doodle gets hung up—this doodle chosen by Margo and found by her on Allan’s social media!
Margo wanted to frame it on her own and she said to me tonight “just wait till the sun shines on it”~~ I can’t get that saying out of my head right now— because in one of Allan’s songs, he wrote and sang “the sun will shine, and save my soul, raise my spirit, make me whole, the sun will shine, it always does…”
After my delicious tomato coconut soup~~the sunset was a gift.

I spent some of my Saturday morning at @fripperylb —who doesn’t love a day at Frippery!!
As soon as you walk in Rachel @rachelbrenner80 and the staff welcomes you like you are family. The store has such great merchandise. It’s definitely my go to place when I need an outfit or a gift.

I’m starting 2026 thinking about how 2025 continued to pave the path for @realize_harmony in so many ways…honoring Allan, filling the world with goodness, developing more ideas to spread peace, love, kindness, compassion, living authentically and so much more ❤️
I got a little stuck creating a short reel—so many choices, tons of memories— so the START doodle makes sense to begin the reel and “COMFORT ZONE AND THE REALLY GOOD STUFF” to end it.

Today had some extra loving kindness! ❤️
The framed doodles are so well received, and it brings me such joy to think that people are hanging these in their homes. Allan would be over the top giddy and he always hoped for a “Realize Harmony Industrial Complex”—well, Allan Fox—I am doing my best to being joy to people, peace and love in this world and providing people with your meaningful work to internalize and share with others.
Thank you to Nancy @dancymack and Johnny Mack who played beautiful music on the Realize Harmony stage. So happy to provide musicians with a place to grace us with their amazing talent. We will be looking for more musicians for the 2026 stage so spread the word 🎶🎤

A conversation with a social worker from a school district who bought a sweatshirt and said “this is great for all our bully prevention” work —she works with middle and high schoolers—all ages need this program and I’d be honored to work with these kids. Help me spread the word!
