We are teaming up with @realityhackatmit and @spectacles to invite you to build the future of learning.
Our 2026 theme, "I, Spatial: Humans Empowered by Spatial AI," is a call to action to restore human agency in an AI world. This hackathon is the perfect stage to prove what that looks like in practice.

🎭 Immersive Festival Live: Remote Presence at Scale
This project explores how immersive technologies can expand access to live festivals and performances - enabling remote presence at scale and opening up new ways for audiences to participate in shared cultural experiences.
🚀 If our pitch is successful, we’ll go through to the final eight projects selected to be part of the 2026 Accelerator programme.
📣 The pitch will be presented in person (IRL) by Dr Luke Porwol for Reality Hack and Rich Welsh for SMPTE. We’re thrilled to be presenting this alongside our sponsors and partners, including Shure, DeoVR, King’s College London, and University of Galway.
