I went into this project perceiving family from the angle of a construction site that never truly closes. One person lays the foundation. Another raises the walls. Someone else installs the roof. You come, you give what you can—your time, your money, your patience, your forgiveness—and then you go. Not because you stop caring, but because growth demands movement. The mistake we often make is turning that natural rhythm into a war: “Who sacrificed more?” “Who failed first?” “Who owes whom?” This film refuses that fight. Instead, it shines a light on developmental responsibilities.
