Return OF The Fishermen
I was fascinated by and captured this routine match of fishermen returning to their canoe with fishing net. An unexpected catch for me but an expected bounty catch for them! For me, this is a near perfect picture which represents the Year of Return, Ghana 2019- an initiative to encourage Africans in the Diaspora to come, settle and invest in the continent. 2019 marks 400 years of the first enslaved African arriving in Jamestown, Virginia.
If you have not been to Ghana yet, this is a chance to visit and if you have already been here, do well to return like the fishermen.
