It's that time of the year again where I bring people to one of the most far-flung corners of the world to do some of the most adventurous things you can imagine. Here is a list of some of those things:
-Treks to the basecamp of the 9th tallest mountain in the world, Nanga Parbat
-Explore the ruby and sapphire bazaars of the north
-A flight over the Himalayas, Hindu Kush and Karakoram mountain ranges.
-Staying in a traditional local Ismaili homestay
-4x4 off road jeeps along one of the worlds wildest roads
-Crossing the Pasu rope bridge over a huge valley below
-A yak BBQ night around the fire with local music and moonshine (optional)
-Exploring 450 year old moghul forts and mosques
-Exploring high altitude lakes in a multitude of colours: green, blue and milky
-Exploring some of the worlds longest glaciers
-Boat rides on cerulean blue lakes under towering peaks
-A sneaky trip to a secret underground speakeasy bar in Lahore

It's situated in the North region of Pakistan called Gilgit-Baltitstan which has the world's longest Mountain Ranges (Hindukush, Himalayas, Karakoram)
๐๏ธThis region is home to lofty-ice capped peaks, worlds highest Glaciers, roaring rivers, lush green plateaus and most amazing fact is three of the world's longest glaciers outside the polar regions are found in Gilgit-Baltistan: the Biafo Glacier, the Baltoro Glacier, and the Batura Glacier.
Thinking of a serene and quiet location to calm your thoughts from everyday life might be challenging. But Pakistan is the starting point for getting away from the city and spending some time in the mountains.

Our expeditions allow our intrepid travellers to explore the worlds tallest mountains, the longest glaciers, alpine forests, bustling cities, remote base camps, ancient mosquesโฆ all the while crossing adventurous rope bridges, going off road on 4x4 on adrenaline fuelled cliff edge, staying in the homes of local farmers, walking on black ice glaciers, meeting game changers in Pakistani society, trying the many diverse foods, multiple languages and traditions.
We know that Pakistan is a sensory overload for many and that in a lot of ways itโs a bootcamp for the soul.
