Meet our first round of 2026 Future Sound Scholarship Awardees: Tamaj Pullen and Onaje Daniels.
The Future Sound Scholarship provides access to advanced music production training and @avidtechnology Pro Tools certification. As an AVID Learning Partner, we prepare students for a credential recognized by recording studios, post-production facilities, and academic institutions worldwide. We’re excited to support Tamaj and Onaje as they continue developing their craft and shaping their sound.

This spring, students from @kennesawstateuniversity ’s Nonprofit Management course are partnering with REC to design real-world solutions that support our mission and strengthen our impact in Atlanta.
Guided by Dr. Autumn Burton, KSU faculty and REC board member, and in collaboration with Executive Director @candymacc , students will take on projects focused on governance, ethics, advocacy, onboarding, and more.
We’re proud to invest in the next generation of nonprofit leaders through this one-of-a-kind classroom-to-community partnership. 💚

Know a teen who’s passionate about music and ready to get in the lab? ⬇️
Applications are now open for REC’s Core Series Program, a no-cost, 6-week experience in music production and songwriting for youth ages 13–18. Spots are limited. Apply by February 20.
Students will explore the fundamentals of beat-making, songwriting, and creative collaboration through hands-on sessions led by industry professionals. This accelerated edition of Beat Basics 101 and Power in the Pen 101 is designed to give young creatives real skills they can use right away, no prior experience required.
✅ Students who complete the Core Series Program will become eligible for consideration for our Future Sound Scholarship.
