We had a great time at the Transforming Health Symposium, hosted by @ubcmedicine ! It’s always our pleasure to connect with the health research community, from researchers to industry leaders to people with lived experience. We love chatting with folks about their experiences with REACH BC, why they’re interested in health research, and ways to improve the platform. Thanks to everyone who dropped by our booth! #HealthResearch #ResearchImpact #TransformingHealth #UBC

2025 has been an exciting time of growth, connection and impact for our community and team – including you. It’s your involvement that helps us move health research forward, improving care for people in BC and beyond. With your help: 🪴REACH BC continued to grow, hitting 8500+ volunteers – a 22% increase since 2024. ❤️People across BC are helping push research forward, including community studies and early phase clinical trials with @providencehealthcare . 📘We launched a new feature with the BC SUPPORT Unit that enables researchers to share back study results, so participants can see how they’re making a difference. None of this would be possible without you. Thank you for being a part of the REACH BC community, whether you were a volunteer, researcher, patient partner, clinical trialist, or partner. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together next year. 👉Want to explore more highlights? We’re excited to share that REACH BC is now an initiative of Clinical Trials British Columbia. Since 2020, REACH BC has worked towards making British Columbia a place where patients, researchers, and communities can access and benefit from world-class research. We do this by bridging the gap between the public and researchers. We make it easier for patients and the public to find out what health research is happening in BC, to connect with researchers, and to participate in health research studies, patient partner opportunities, and clinical trials. At the same time, make it easier and more efficient for researchers to find participants and partners for their research and clinical trials. We’re grateful to continue this work under Clinical Trials British Columbia, with funding and support from Michael Smith Health Research BC and the BC SUPPORT Unit, which is founded under Canada’s Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR). Clinical trials matter because they save lives, shape better health systems, and bring tomorrow’s care to people today. As an initiative of Clinical Trials British Columbia, REACH BC is committed to making that future possible. #HealthResearch #ClinicalTrials
