Gegenfeld is the debut release by Half Light Lane the new duo project by Carl Raban, one of the creative minds behind the label @cumulonimbus.berlin and piater., resident DJ at @geheimclub.magdeburg & part of the label and event collective @hra.berlin With their unified sonic identity, they serve five intelligently designed, style-crossing, and diverse techno tracks, with a strong focus on storytelling regarding both the tracks themselves as well as the whole EP, while keeping a permanent balance between mystic, deep or even dark atmospheres, forward pushing, uplifting chords and mesmerizing melodics. Between low end & (in) between percussions. Between noise & clarity, push & pull, chaos & order - resulting in an interlocking, unique sound. All combined with processing the entire EP through an old Mackie mixer adding a certain analog warmth to it. Though the two artists remain two distinct creative minds, as or within Half Light Lane, they merged approaches & fused skills and creativity in side-by-side sessions and therefore transcend individual limits, dissolving boundaries in their production process - essential for this fusion, clearly audible in the design Gegenfeld's electronic soundscapes. Two artists. One unified name. One boundary-pushing project. Links for streaming & purchase in bio! Tracklist: 1. Mencari 2. Urban Mirage 3. Midnight Bazaar 4. Nachleuchten 5. Gegenfeld Credits: Mastered by @younes_jamil The cover artwork is an unchanged section of the painting "Die Vögel" by Reinhold Rudolph Junghanns, coming from the private archive of Carl Raban's family, to which the artist belonged. It's been a long time, but finally, with the series' 22nd edition re:flect invites: @klimsn_ delivering a truly unique live set! The Berlin based artist describes his style as driving techno infused with melancholic vocals. In his live sets, featuring his own German but also English or French vocals and a strong sense of emotion, he weaves dreams, doubts, influenced by elements from multiple genres into something both intimate and danceable. Emerging from 'failed' post-punk project, he began DJing techno, and his first single “Alleine” was his attempt to channel old ideas into electronic music. He draws inspiration from the nightlife, connecting with other creatives. A pivotal moment was his first Berlin winter when he coped with heartbreak in the vast city, using music as a vent for loneliness. In his teens, post-punk and shoegaze shaped his interest, and attending underground shows in NRW definitely inspired him to make music himself. When asking him - we should to keep an eye on emerging artists like @atzenpunk and @strangerkat_ 👀 A strong advocate of interdisciplinarity in (sub)cultural spaces and music, Klimsn believes that electronic music thrives on atmosphere, often emerging collaboration across genres or artistic disciplines enriches cultural events and spaces. Enjoy this special journey through soundscapes you never heard before! Big thanks to Klimsn for providing those 💝 Tracklist on the last slide! Link in link 🌮 <3

For the reupload of this edition, re:flect Gallery warmly rewelcomes @ae.nnaaa (she/they) for a presentation of five paintings, originally shown in 2024. Anna describes her use of creativity as an expression of her feelings and thoughts in each moment. For her works, she uses various materials such as fabrics, paints, and printing techniques. The individuality that arises in these moments is particularly important to her. Her friends and the exchange of mutual inspiration are a tremendous motivation for her. “With my art, I want to challenge norms and rules. This is reflected in my definition of creativity: for me, creativity means freedom.“ This freedom allows her to create something new without norms and constraints, drawing inspiration from her environment to observe which materials are useful for printing and paintings as well as what colours harmonize with each other. A significant turning point for her was when friends supported and appreciated her art. In the past, people often told her that she wasn't able to draw, resulting in enormous limitations of her self-confidence and, therefore, also her creativity. Now, she gradually rebuilds this confidence and allows her creativity to flourish. She describes her work as interdisciplinarily, without limiting herself and experimenting with materials and people, bringing her great joy and fostering creativity. “This, I believe, results in very exciting art where there is always something new to discover.” Thanks for sharing your art and story with us! - Text written in 2024

For this year's first mix and the series's 20th edition re:flect invites @calcul8_ - a very talented underground producer being alongside re:flect since our and also his very first release - the Fundraiser Collection Vol. 1. Calcul8's style is defined by dark, atmospheric spaces that leave ample room for futuristic sound design. He combines driving rhythms with glitchy elements and layered percussion to tell engaging and dynamic stories. His preferred medium is Ableton, as it allows him to work quickly and efficiently, bringing his ideas to life seamlessly. For him, it is the ideal tool to fully unleash his creativity. He focuses exclusively on dark, hypnotic, and dystopian techno. His motivation stems from the incredible diversity of electronic music and the endless possibilities to create and explore its many facets. He draws inspiration primarily from the night and from parties, where the energy and atmosphere fuel his creativity. Additionally, his work is influenced by genres such as alternative rock, trap, hard wave, hip-hop, and many others. His greatest inspirations include artists like @marcal_____ , @quelza_m ,@hitam.ec @benza.___ @ketchmusik & @alarico___ whose work has left a lasting impact on him and shaped his style not only for this mix! Tracklist at the end 😎🗓 Link to the mix in our palm tree.🌮 - The artworks - two analogue photos were taken by Berlin based artist @philippschediwy , who is being active in various artistic fields. As PHILI @groovy.phili , he also finds his creativity in organising parties, Djing as well as music production - not only released on re:flect recording's latest VA release. As a photographer, he mainly focuses on analogue photography in several formats. His photos show urban contrast in colours, geometrical forms, structures as well as between the organic and the artificial. You can watch and purchase his works on /u/27747003 - Thanks to you for your contribution to our series, trying to build bridges between different disciplines of art. <3

●REUPLOAD● With this re:upload, we still really proudly present the very first EP-release on our record label, re:flect recordings. "Adventures of the Mind" by @mamwadi_ - an artist who has become a good friend of re:flect in the last years & has also contributed to our Fundraiser Collections for Ukraine as well as to our recent VA-Release - features five mesmerising yet energising tracks, originally released in June 2022. These tracks span a spectrum of deep sounds and rhythms, saturated driving low-ends and hypnotising, minimalist synth lines, complemented by crisp hi-hats. Each piece can stand alone as a captivating track or serve as a layering-tool in a mix. One standout highlight of the Ep is a more breaky techno tune, featuring a rhythm reminiscent of the sounds of the 90's experimental underground, breaking free from the typical four-to-the-floor structure. Mamwadi, born in Sweden & based in JĂ€rna, has cultivated his craft as a DJ and producer through a long-term passion for electronic music. His journey through diverse genres such as Dubstep, Gabber, Psytrance, Ambient, and Techno has allowed him to distil the best elements of each into his unique productions. His work embodies the fusion of these influences, resulting in a sound that is distinctly his own. - Tracklist: 1. Adventures of the Mind 2. Filthy Delight 3. The Struggle Within 4. Trembling 5. Fear the Future - Mastered by @circuitbreaker_naarm Cover designed by @x.fram3s | @xonic.nona - Release date: 03.06.2022 Link to our Bandcamp in Bio 😊

Hypnotic textures, analogue warmth, and timeless sound: a reupload of the 4th solo EP on re:flect recordings crafted by @leandro_taibbi With Milano based hardware talent Leandro Taibbi, we’re releasing "Assioma Capillare" on re:flect recordings - four trippy, hypnotic, and purely analogue-produced raw tracks with a truly distinctive sound design. Leandro’s creative process doesn’t follow trends. His influences range from ambient & IDM to film soundtracks & classical music - always guided by curiosity and the joy of exploring sound in new ways. His motivation comes from the urge to bring order into mental chaos - using music as a way to rearrange this inner “Rubik’s Cube”. The results depend entirely on his mood of the day, yet one constant remains: the drive to refine and share his musical vision. Fascinated by psychology and musical neuroaesthetics, Leandro believes that art, culture, and science are deeply interconnected - each offering insights into how the brain perceives and experiences music. When asked about emerging underground artists, he recommends keeping an eye on @pixfoil and @khymeia - text originally written in 2024 Tracks: 1. Assioma Capillare 2. Eufemismo To-1 3. Inezione 4. Vanguard Links there where you find them. All tracks produced, mixed and mastered by the artist himself. We're thrilled to share the third & last v.a. release of the collaborative fundraiser campaign curated by @klangangriff_ & re:flect! It's day 293 of the ongoing protests on Georgia’s streets against anti-democratic, corrupt forces in the country, which are cracking down hard on protesters. Georgia’s democracy is under big threat – along with its progressive communities & the country’s vibrant cultural & creative landscape. We're still shocked about how the Georgian government keeps on dustancing itself from the EU & so the called Western world & democratic values – acting against the will of the overwhelming majority of its people. Freedoms of assembly, art, expression & speech, as well as the rights of minorities, are being increasingly curtailed. Human rights are being flouted. All backed by laws that have been copied almost word for word from Kremlin policy. Protests against the regime have been met with systematic repression, and the number of political prisoners experiencing excessive punishments is rising. Nevertheless, people still have taken to the streets with marches drawing record-breaking crowds. With our fundraiser campaign, supported by various artists & labels we aim to collect donations for local (sub)cultural spaces, where progressive-minded people gather as well as for NGOs that promote independent media, prisoner’s & minority rights. 100% of the net proceeds made with the REKAVA trilogy will be donated to the well selected projects. Tracklist : 1. Objector Trax & Lilith. - Love Is Devine 2. NĂžvek - Inhercia 3. Yada - Last Reserve 4. MĂŒzmin - Ibex 5. Pierce - Gaussian 6. XCS - Gumba 7. Jan Goertz - Scratching From The Inside 8. With pleasure, we warmly (re)welcome @sihamdelphine for this reupload of the edition of re:flect Gallery, originally shown in 2024. Siham describes her creative work as a pure expression of her perception and the resulting feelings. It is a dynamic and constant process that knows no limits visually or in terms of content. „Contrasting an aesthetic representation of violence and delicate compositional elements makes many people feel uneasy." This raw confrontation unintentionally but surely draws attention to socially critical issues. Her interest in science (biology, anatomy, medicine) helps her to express herself authentically. Even as a small child, creativity and imagination were the most important outlets for her. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to communicate and bring these outlets to the public because this valve has always been suppressed by certain people. In 2021, Siham decided to show her paintings to the public for the very first time. It surely wasn't easy, but the meaning of creativity became more heavyweight for her. A few key moments in her creative journey are selling her first painting, having her own atelier, and the support of her friends from the very beginning. Inspiration can get drawn from almost everything for her, including art and science in general, such as artists, medicine, biology, architecture, industrial environments , or society. She prefers to work with acrylic paint on canvas or her plastics, which are made out of modelling clay. Modelling these works with the will of creating an almost ceramic-like surface or covering pieces with synthetic resin-based varnish creates thick textures, which define her work with an incomparable shine. works in order of slides: 1. [Preview] 2. Die Essenz (2024) 3. Das Gehör (2024) 4. Untitled (2024) 5. Weitere Plastiken (2024) [Fotoansicht] 6.
