7 hours went by so fast and yet we still need a lot more time to process what we learned from last Saturday’s workshop (yes, we’re talking about all of the renderingšŸ˜…). Who’s agreeing that we need more of these classes? In the meantime, here’s a little flashback.

Proud to witness and be part of the @grrrlgang & @disc0nesia American tour. Hopefully, more and more Indonesian artists can play and showcase their work in America and around the world, because our creations deserve to be seen.

#bringbackinstagramphotos _______________________________________________ Been a while since I brought my camera along while walking around the city. Might as well start doing this more often again.

My first 3D visual in New York, on a screen this big. Last October, my friend asked me to be part of her show and create visuals for ASIAN NYFW. She told me the screen would wrap all around the room. Honestly, I couldn’t really imagine how big it would feel until I saw it. It was my first time seeing my own 3D work stretched across a space that wide. When I asked her what kind of visual she wanted, she just said, ā€œcolorful and abstract objects.ā€ That’s it. So I started looking for references and playing around with abstract forms. I made them bouncy, almost playful, and gave them a knit fabric like material because I wanted them to feel soft and alive. Then I built a room around them and added some grass, just to give them space. I didn’t want them to feel empty or floating. I wanted it to feel like they existed in their own little world.
