☀️Towards the Sun creative experience: Rituals Food Love X Yijia Tu
Last Sunday was unforgettable for us, and we hope that it was also unforgettable for everyone who was there ✨
As our first ever event, Ears & Eats is thankful to have received such an amount of support and interest, achieving a sold-out night.
The Chinese Sichuan culture and shared identity between Yingying of
@ritualsfoodlove and Ears & Eats, and Yijia
@yijia_music inspired the night.
Just as our concluding dessert 映山红, which is named after a Sichuan lullaby and a song by Yijia, the experience was curated from the taste of spice and hometown nostalgia, mixed with thoughts and ideas after arriving in London.
As we gathered in
@rdm.killbean to celebrate Chinese New Year with Chinese Sichuan-inspired cuisine and music, we hope that we provided a home-felt experience for those celebrating the New Year abroad, and an intimate experience for those experiencing the New Year through our culture.
Thank you to everyone who helped and came yesterday. Without you, this would never have happened.
We will never forget the lovely faces we met, the music we listened to together, the tastes we experienced, and the interesting conversations we had, bonding us together over food, music, and shared experience.
Here’s to more. Happy New Year of the Fire Horse to everyone who celebrates it.
Thank you again, and please look forward to more Ears & Eats events coming up soon!
